ACCOMMODATIONS
We opt for charming and culturally authentic instead of Western styled deluxe hotels.
The accommodations reflect the culture and flavor of Morocco. In Marrakech, Essaouira and Tafroute we stay in beautiful riads (refurbished mansions or townhouses) with stunning terraces. The riads in Marrakech and Essaouira are inside the Medinas (old town). The desert accommodation is a nomad settlement with comfy sleeping quarters. There are even public showers (hot and cold water) and toilets with seats. Not bad for the Sahara :-)
