My Moroccan Pastilla seemed to do over rather well, but I was devastated that you didn't get a piece, as I made it specially with you in mind. So, next time I will definitely make it again- with an extra plate that says" Hands off- this is Dore's".
Great to see Yoomi & Mark, who have already done a stellar presentation at my Travel Group. Also Rob and Turkish Deniz, who are also in my group. Still hoping one day to coordinate a presentation with you & Clara....

The Mother's Day Tangents Party was our first taste " on many levels" of your hosted get together of the radio listening community.
Deniz and I enjoyed the incredibly talented musicians as well as the gathering of interesting, friendly people. Yeah, and the food was delicious and varied too.
Thank you once again for a most enjoyable evening that was really wonderful and special !

Charles and I had to leave early last night, tearing ourselves away from an awesome concert. I have attended so many wonderful Tangents parties, and it's time for me to shout out my appreciation for the incredible, inspiring and creative contribution you're making to our lives and to the Bay Area community. Because of you, so many people have access to transformative musical experiences; and because of you, musicians have a reason to come together and be supported by the local community, and perhaps even continue to stay in the area and make more music for us.
Dore, you are changing the shape of life here! Thank you!

Hope you are doing well. Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the concert last sunday. It was really fantastic. I will try to volunteer the next time.
BTW, wathcing Gypsy caravan - I think you had recommended on one of your shows. Really interesting how music is so global.

I absolutely have to thank you for enabling and
organizing that completely wonderful concert
last night. Great food; as always, great people;
and utterly magical music. Heaven!
I think the most amazing part is that that group
of five had never played together before, and it
went like clockwork - complex rhythms and melodic
structures, and everybody was together, all the
time, seamlessly. And gorgeously.
So, again, thanks! - and thanks to each of the five
wonderful musical artists, too.
All that said, it was a good party, too. Twin Space is
an outstanding location for a lot of things, music no
less than dance, and it was an intimate, informal
setting that still made for both very fine visuals and
excellent sounds. Nice people running it, too - we spoke
with Elizabeth for a while during cleanup, and we really
hope her venture succeeds.
We didn't get to speak with Mark and Yoo-Mi, which is
a shame (though we've only met them a couple times before),
but I'm glad they were there - another link of continuity
that keeps it all warm, personal, and comfortable.
A bigger party than the other ones we've been to, but
it was far from what happens at an impersonal public
concert. All friends, at one level or another. Ya got
a good extended family there, Dore!
Let's do it again :-)
